How to File a Complaint?

• Complete a Civil Complaint Form at the Court Clerks Office

• Pay the Filing Fee or Complete an Application for a Waiver

• Clerk will file the complaint

• A summons & copy of Complaint will be served to the defendant, who has 20 days to ANSWER the complaint

• After an ANSWER is received from the defendant, copy served to Plaintiff, a court hearing date will be set

• Notice of Hearing will be sent to all parties
